Developed and rolled out Subnational Treasury Regulation Application (SuTRA) for the local governments. Initially, SuTRA addressed the three basic financial system needs of newly formed local governments—financial budgeting, accounting and reporting. During the course of five years, mechanisms for continuous improvement and feedback were created to refine and optimize SuTRA, customize it to the local governments’ needs and make it responsive to emerging best practices in financial management and technology.
Updated the GoN accounts manual for all federal government ministries and their spending units, all seven provinces and their spending units and all the local governments. Treasury Single Account System (TSA) was developed and implemented for FCGO. TSA was used to manage the accounting and reporting functions of the District Treasury Controller Offices under the Treasury Single Account System in all districts.
