In conjunction with the Dalit Welfare Organisation, TEAM Consult proposed recommendations to mainstream the elimination of caste-based discrimination in the government and ILO activities. We nalysed the situation of discrimination and forced labour (including child labour) of occupational castes in Nepal. This study fed into the National Strategy by the National Planning Commission and contributed the inclusion of Dalit issues in the 2003 ILO Global Report on Discrimination.
